Chambery airport, officially known as Chambéry-Savoie Airport (CMF), is a small international airport in close proximity to several French ski resorts. The airport is actually situated in the town of Le Viviers du Lac next to Bourget Lake, half an hour outside the town of Chambéry, and within easy driving distance of Aix-les-Bains. Chambéry airport is served by nine airlines: Air Southeast, Astraeus, Excel Airways, Sterling Airlines, Flybe, Jet2.com, Siberia Airlines, Thomsonfly, and VIM Airlines. Public transport links are poor but there a few car rental providers and some good Chambery airport transfer service providers.
Chambéry Airport is the gateway to many of France’s most popular ski destinations, and is ideal for airport transfers to most of the French Alps, the Bauges and the Chartreuse Mountains. All the ski resorts mentioned above can also be reached within two to three hours from Grenoble airport transfer.

Public transportation links are available from Chambery but it is strongly suggested that you look at alternatives.
