Please note if you fly into Turin airport you will have to travel through the Mt Blanc tunnel to get to any Portes de Soleil resort as other mountain roads and passes are closed during the winter. Other options for the French part of Portes du Soleil are Chambery or Lyon. Both Berne and Zurich are also options for the Swiss ski resorts but transfer time can be two to three hours during peak travel time. We strongly recommend you use a direct airport transfer for the shortest journey time. Some visitors choose to hire a car, with facilities available at all the airports.
