Some Facts about Crans Montana
Crans Montana started life as two separate villages, unsurprisingly called Crans and Montana. They joined forces back in the 60s and today represent one of the most popular and desirable ski resorts in the whole of the area. Small in nature, the resort offers access to some of the best ski runs to be found anywhere in the Alps and is fast becoming a tourist hotspot with every passing year. A full 160km of marked runs can be found across the area with a pretty even spread between beginner, intermediate and expert runs. 24 ski lifts keep the action going, runs above the 2,500m mark guarantee season-round snow and the après-ski has a reputation for being some of the best the Swiss Alps have to offer. And just to top it all off, the resort is blessed with some of the most stunning panoramas of the Alps.
