    Dienten Ski Amadé Ski resort is part of the of the High King Mountain Ski Area (Hochkönig), Austria. High King Mountain is part of the Ski Amadé region of Austria, a network of 28 ski areas on the same ski pass which make up the largest ski area in Europe. Dienten is a wonderful "Family-Village", where you can forget about your car. Ski-lifts, shops and restaurants are easily reachable by feet. The wide slopes allow wonderful skiing and reach till in the center of the village. Dienten is very snow-sure and offers a good mountain climate, many sun and less fog. The lots of skiing-huts offer delicious meals to low-prices as well as party and apré-ski in the afternoon. The snowpark will make freestylers a pleasure - from beginner to expert.

    From which airport can I reach Dienten Ski Amade?

    There are Airports within few hours’ drive, so short ski holidays and snowboard breaks to Dienten are perfect. Salzburg Airport is just one hour’s drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.     Is there public transport to Dienten Ski Amade?

    There are buses which ply to the resort from Innsbruck and Salzburg airports listed above. However, if you are looking at using public transport be aware that there will be necessary changes. Train options from other airports are available too but some of them are quite lengthy.

    • You can take the bus from Salzburg via Saalfelden Postamt to Dienten. It takes roughly 3 hours to get from Salzburg to Dienten.
    • Coming from Innsbruck may be time consuming as there are multiple bus and train changes necessary. It may take up to five hours.

    Advice on Transportation to Dienten Ski Amade.

    While many people do use the public transport listed above they can sometimes be time consuming like some train journeys from airports not listed above may take up a long time to reach the resort. You are much better off booking an airport transfer from the airport where you land. You will benefit from a shorter journey time and a direct route.
