Some Facts about Les Allues
Les Allues is the original village in the heart of the Méribel valley. It has several excellent restaurants, a bar with live music and a small supermarket. There is a telecabine at Les Allues takes you into the central lift network at Méribel's La Chaudanne offering direct links to all the slopes mentioned above. There is also a free regular bus service. A nice village, totally protected from the urbanization; you can spot many chalets and old barns which still exist in the village. The new buildings totally fit in the surrounding savoyard style. There are some shops and the village is linked to Mribel via free shuttles. Located at an altitude of 1100 metres, Les Allues is linked to the ski area thanks to the six seats gondola which also serves Brides les Bains and the Raffort.This skilift will drop you off at the departure of the Meribel ski runs at la Chaudanne. To come back to les Allues after your ski day, you will have to take again the gondola Olympe as there is no slope from Meribel to les Allues.
