Please note if you fly into one of the Italian airports you will have to travel through the Mont Blanc tunnel to get to Val D'Isere as all the mountain roads and passes are closed during the winter season. Italian airports are not convenient during the winter season. We recommend you avoid them unless you pay virtually nothing for the flight.
The closest airport to Val D'Isere is either Chambery or Lyon. Both Grenoble and Geneva are also options but transfer time can be well over three hours during peak travel time. Val D'Isere is one of the big three ski resorts in the French Alps.
