The closest airports to the Alpbach Valley region are: Innsbruck (50 km), Munich (150 km) and Salzburg (150 km). You can easily go to your destination point from the airport of your arrival using transfer bus services or individual transfers. Make sure you book them in advance.

Is there public transport to Alpbach?

From Innsbruck the most convenient way to Alpbach is to take a train to Brixlegg and then change to local bus that takes you directly to Alpbach. The journey will take you about 1hour 30min. If you are coming from Munich or Salzburg you will have to change the train and bus several times and the journey takes about 2hours 30min.
