From which airport can I reach La Chapelle d'Abondance?
The most convenient airport to reach La Chapelle d'Abondance by a long way is Geneva, which is only one hour to most resorts in the Portes du Soleil region including La Chapelle d'Abondance. Other options for the French part of Portes du Soleil are Chambery or Lyon. Both Berne and Zurich are also options for the Swiss ski resorts but transfer time can be two to three hours during peak travel time. Please note if you fly into Turin airport you will have to travel through the Mt Blanc tunnel to get to any Portes de Soleil resort as other mountain roads and passes are closed during the winter.
